A Tribute to Portuguese Aeronautical Excellence
On Saturday, October 4, 2025, the national aeronautical sector gathered to celebrate one of its most emblematic moments: the 9th edition of the Carlos Bleck Award, promoted by APPLA – the Portuguese Association of Airline Pilots.
Launch of the Biographical Book and the "Pilots of Tomorrow" Program
This edition of the Carlos Bleck Prize was marked by two inspiring moments:
- The launch of a biographical book dedicated to the life and legacy of Carlos Bleck — a pioneer of Portuguese aviation and a symbol of dedication to excellence.
- The presentation of the “Pilots of Tomorrow” program, an initiative integrated into the ANAC (National Civil Aviation Authority) project in partnership with ASPAC (Portuguese Association of Civil Aviation Schools).
The program aims to inspire and train the next generation of aviation professionals, reinforcing the commitment to technical education, practical training, and the sustainable development of aviation in Portugal and beyond.
